Honestly I dont read reviews for advice on purchasing games anymore, especially GS reviews. I just want to see if they are going to pull a Zelda and give this game a 8.5 so everyone can flip out again. I already reserved this, fully paid. I just need to pick it up.
I am not waiting for Gamespots review at all. They will definatly give it an 8.5 or below just because they hate the Wii. The 2 places i care about have reviewed it... Gametrailers and IGN, 9.6 and 9.5 respectivley.
Yeah Gamespot seems to drag their feet on stuff which isn't good for a reviewing site and I wonder if they'll be tough on this too like they were on Zelda. They'll probably keep beating the dead horse of not as fancy graphics as 360 and PS3 or complain that there's no mulitplayer.
Still, it's getting high marks from the sites I've seen so far such as Gametrailers and IGN. Come on gamespot, stop dragging your feet.
Will you guys quit being such fanboys? I can't believe you're still crying about the Zelda review. It got an 8.8, if it just had 0.2 more nobody would care. Whats so special about that 9? Nothing! They said its a great game, so why you're all STILL complaining I have no idea.
As for the review being 'late', the Gamespot staff don't start work for another 3 hours, and normally don't update the site until 4PM PT. Just because its a high profile game, doesn't mean they're obliged to get up at midnight just to post their review

For me Blackhand edition was better than RE4 in many ways.
