I'd go for the DS Lite. A lot cooler looking, and the battery lasts a lot lot longer. More sleek, and pretty much an improvement from the older models.

There isn't much difference or improvement really, just get a psp coz they do more. EB just rip u off into geting cool suff but they're makin a profit out of u. Just stick to wat u've got until sumthing new comes out.

Original DS + 2 Games + 100$ = DS Lite? Did I understand right? Something seems wrong with that math. I guess it's EB games math. My personal oppinion is that ALL EB trades are scams and should be avoided. Still, it seems as though the DS Lite is way better than the original... maybe you should just buy it outright?

The lite is a hell of an improvement. The picture quality alone is worth the price. OMG, I tried the Lite in stores and thought, Meh. But once my wife bought me one for Xmas and I played my current library of games on it, I haven't even been able to touch the old one. It's like putting on your old glasses after getting a new prescription. Impossible. So the screen looks grainy. The lite has a real back light that is brighter than the PSP, the Mic is in a better position, the volume button is easier to adjust because it's bigger, Same goes for the stylus (which is also in a better spot. Only down side to the light is the volume isn't as loud as the old one.

One more problem you'll have is, it will take your brain a week to adjust to the new positioning of the buttons after having the old DS for so long.

And tman978, don't forget the increased battery lifespan (whereas the normal DS would give you 6-10 hours, the new one gives you 16-18 hours at the lowest brightness setting, which is brighter than the Old DS and at the highest brightness settings the DS Lite can be directly playable against sunlight) and of course the repositioned power button, so no more power off accidents any more.
