Which final fantasy Chronicles DS should I buy?

I don't know which one to buy, I know echoes of times is newer and everything but it got a lower score. So which one you reccomend for me to buy Echoes of time or Ring of Fates. Compare and Contrast would be really helpful

Well RoF was one of my favorite DS games. I haven't gotten Echoes of Time but I heard it wasn't as story oriented as the last one (although I enjoyed the story of RoF it was kind of lacking and the voice acting was bad). I'd say get RoF you can probably find it cheaper maybe.

If you have wifi go with the second one.

If you're into using the wifi capabilities of your DS, go with EoT. If you want a decent story line, and can deal with terrible voice acting, go with RoF.

I see it this way:

Ring of fates for good single player story (and probably available cheaper)

Echos of time for mind bending puzzles and wifi with friends

I would recommend getting Ring of fates first and if you like it get Echos of time later.

I was a little disappointed with EOT being the way that it was (character designs being repeated, just overall everything visual being repeated) Although I haven't finished EOT, I'd go for ROF because I thought it had a pretty decent story.

Well Ring of Fates has a better story. Echoes of Time was pretty good multiplayer but the story was iffy but cute. The angles of both games sometimes got annoying during jump sequences but overall they were both ok games.
