Well... WarioWare shows how many different ways you can use the wiimote, which is cool, but we get the point. I got sick of the game after 20 mins.
The game that I thought was great because of the wiimote is Excite Truck. It's simple and easy to control. Much better than NFS Carbon.
I really just hope gaming company making games for the Wii feel like they have to use it's motion sensing ability. I mean, it's great to have it, but keep it simple! I mean, did we really have to shake the wiimote to throw a gernade in Metal Slug, and didn't shaking the wiimote make Mario jump in Paper Mario? Or did you just push a button?
I haven't played that many games but from what I have played, the controls in Elebits felt so natural in my hand, I was left wondering why the other FPS games on Wii haven't managed to make it feel that good.
For me, it's gotta be zelda, red steel and excite truck. Mind you, those are the only games that i've played, but i think the controls are good on each one of them
i'd also have to say excite truck. in fact, i could owe my entire purchase of the wii to excite truck's control scheme. on the wii's release date, i played ET in a gamestop after playing a motorstorm demo at the same store and i immediately saw the potential of the wii's controller; excite truck was much more fun to play than motorstorm. i'd also have to nominate my first wii game, rayman: raving rabbids. it uses the wii remote in a ton of different ways, but none of them feel forced.
RE4 for sure. Just recently I noticed you can use the classic controller for the game and get a good comparison how the game plays with the old controls, and how much better the new control scheme makes it. It's like night and day for me. Now if the Wii could only do the same for online fps...
I beleive the motion controller is genious. I like the controls for every game, it makes me feel more into the game. I love The Wii Remote and nunchuck!
