mario party 1 for n64 was really fun and me and my sisters played it all the time but mario party 8 got 6.5 and i dont know if i will like it. which games are similar to mario party and which is the best? is mario party under-rated and is it fun? what about rayman raving rabbidsxboxlover175Mario party 8. I don't have a wii, but me and my sister played those game all the time. And besides I think of the gamespot reviews as a opinion, not a guide to which games are good or not, it's all about the gamers opinion.
I'd go for Mario Strikers Charged, it really is less of a sports game and more of a family-friendly fun kind of game. I wouldn't get Rayman Raving Rabbids though, since it isn't really focused on multiplayer... however I'd look out for the sequel if I were you, since that is supposed to be based on multiplayer.
Oh, and I would definitely recommend getting a Gamecube game that interests you (perhaps Super Smash Bros. Melee?) since you've probably just discovered that Wii plays GCN games as well.

If his sisters played the original Mario Party on the N64, I'm willing to bet that they are old enough now to know what the crotch chop dance is.[QUOTE="Duckman5"][QUOTE="REVOLUTIONfreak"]I'd go for Mario Strikers Charged, it really is less of a sports game and more of a family-friendly fun kind of game. Huh? That didn't make any sense. :? He owned an NES and kept Mario Party? I wasn't aware that there was a Mario Party game on the NES. :lol:Oh, and I'm pretty sure this guy is older than ten, so I don't think he has to worry about his parent's approval.
