i've been searching through some games, and to the right side it says "Rank on DS: # out of 1049" or something. which one is #1? i cant seem to find it.
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass-just go to the DS page and scroll down to the "most popular games today' list and there is the top 10. The rankings of course are just based on current interest and nothing to do with ratings like on the Top Games/ all time list.
The #1 game on the DS {according to the rating it got, and if you check the top games list} you can see it is Mario Kart, that got a 9.2. Advance Wars got the same score.

mario kart was in between 10-15 and NSMB is 12, i cant think of any other games that could be number 1 because those games had the biggest hype i think
4 out of 5 people who posted after me seem to be confusing top rated games which are based on the reviews and top rankings which are based on most current interest. -----the top rankings as I mentioned are at the bottom of the DS page and Legend of Zelda is #1. (even though the poster above this one also seemed to sort of get it)
