Mario of course, Sonic you lucky to get a decent game every 4 years. Mario almost every game is great.

I always liked both. But Mario is still over Sonic.

I'll go with Mario because i've played his games on the SNES all my life. Besides, he's got that wicked awesome stache 8)

2d games: Sonic > Mario

3d games: Mario >>>>> Sonic

 I prefer Sonic overall though. I was pretty much brought up on Sega consoles so I played all the Sonic games that came out. While I'd only played 2 or 3 Mario games growing up.

Also, as far as style, attitude and all that go, there's really no comparison.

Sonic: lightning fast, super cool blue hedgehog who don't take no S***!

Mario PWNS all 2D games. He is like the f****** creator of the platformer genre. He has powers and can save kingdoms. Sonic, he can save a place from some eggman. Are you kidding me? He can't even keep a girlfriend.........

i like sonic better he's just cooler to me. sure he's had "bad" games latey (to other people's opinions) but u gota realize are marios any better? the sports and partys are telling me that there runing out of ideas. goalring27
