Castlevania Portrait of Ruin.Tech-Fanatic
for some reason i didnt really get into the castlevania games either :/
i dont know why.. there just not my "thing"
hmm, best game ever....
Well, I want to say Meteos because I've never been so drawn and addicted to a puzzle game like I am with Meteos before. And then I remember Mario Kart DS and how amazed I was at how smooth and good-looking it is. And then I think about Mega Man ZX and how I was so into that game for about two weeks, like I hadn't been into a game for several years before it.
...I can't pin just one great game on this system. Everything in my collection is golden, imho.
Define best. The game i think is of the highest quality? Or the game i enjoyed most?
Either way, that's hard.. EBA is excellent, as is NSMB, LoZPH, AW:DS, Castlevania DS, Mario Kart DS etc.
however, one game that i would like to bring special recognition to is StarFox Command. One of the DS' most under rated games as far as i'm concerned. The flying in this game was perfect, it was ridiculous amounts of fun. As cheesy as the story lines were, i was actualy driven to complete them all.. plus it was actually interesting/noticable to play with other characters. I also enjoyed the strategy elements to it. The biggest problem is that the game is very easy. You don't have to kill all of the enemies to advance, and the great fox's missles help make things much easier too.. it cheapens the strategy element that they tried to introduce..
however, i lplayed the game going for as much as i could. I didn't leave a single enemy left standing, and i didn't use missles(air combat was too much fun to waste by using those missles instead).. this made the game far more challenging and rewarding for me. And possibly why i look back on it more fondly then most.
