No. Playing with the bad guys isn't automatically cool, but I thought there was some sort of consensus around the fact that The Empire and the Sith were cooler than The Republic and the Jedi.

The Force Unleashed but I just don't like that you have to play as a bad guy. I wish they gave you a choice as to what side you'd be loyal to, I know most people would choose dark because nowadays if you're dark, you're awesome (Just look at alot of the members names Darkthis, Evilhim or her and Darkthat) but I like being different and I would've liked if I couldv'e played on the side of good. and I want a Magenta Lightsaber not Red. Everybody has Red Lightsabers already. The game does look awesome though so for me, it's The Force Unleashed.nini200

I've beaten all my games and nothing else is coming out for a month or more that I'm interested in so TFU looks good enough. Plus the wii version looks rather good.

Although the movie that the game is based on is trash the tv show that the movie is based on is considered very good

Got ya. I mean I do understand that he isn't completely the bad guy though.

This is just like saying why bother complaining about online lag in a game when you're going to get the game anyway? I complained because I'm wanted the choice to be a good guy or a bad guy even though it looks like you'll play both sides seeing as to how he was fighting Darth Vader.

First of all Clone Wars looks dreadful so that's a no-go for me. I'll wait ta see some reviews on The Force Unleashed before i decide on that.

I can see what you are saying but it is pretty sweet to be that bad guy, where no rules apply and you can fully unleash the force on whoever you want and most games since the dawn of gaming have you playing as the good guy, the one guy that nobody else can measure up to just because he is so perfect. Games like God of war or Gears of War really put that trend upside down because those were the guys that didn't follow the rules and look how big those games got. Lucas Arts wants to follow that new trend.

But on the other side of that, games I have played where you make decisions to be good or bad (Fable, KOTOR, Mass Effect) I just couldnt put myself to be a bad guy. I never got that "dang I am one bad mutha" when I choose to kill a guy because he needed help defending himself from robbers. I am a sissy, i know it.

But those games that come by once in a while where you can play as the bad guy and still get a satisfied feeling are the games that stand out, for me at least.
