Which starter will you team up in Heart Gold/SoulSilver?

Ok, so maybe this is thinking ahead a bit but im interested to know what your favourite out out the three are. For me it's gonna be Chikorita - so kool and powerful.

Definately totodile, but i'm not buying this one lol, i just trade to get my pokemon....

Cyndaquil.

It was my very first Pokemon ever. :'D Also, my first Pokemon to level 100. I'll be naming my Heart Gold one, CYN, right after the old one. x3

I don't even know. I'm getting both versions, so I'll pick two: Cyndaquil and Chikorita. I think those were the first two I picked when I first got Gold and Silver.

Totodile, i chose him in gold so i will choose him in the new ones

I've always picked the water starter pokemon for each generation, plus Totodile's one of my favorite pokemon. :)

I originally had a totodile, but I much prefer cyndaquil so that'll be my starter this time around.

I can't decide between Chikorita or Cyndaquil. Chikorita's really cute and I would choose her, but she's more defensive and I don't care for buffs or stalling. I never store non-damaging moves so...

Cyndaquil is cool, but I like to have a cute starter just because.

I guess I'll choose Chikorita even though I might regret it just like Turtwig.

I happen to have all the starters from Pearl, but I will mostly likely go with Totodile.

I'm one of those people who always and only start with the grass type, so it is going to be Chikorita!

Well, I usually always start out with a fire type, so probably Cyndaquil.

i dunno. chickorita maybe. its times like these that i hate playing competitively, knowing that all 3 of these pokemon would make my team worse is kinda depressing.

Totodile for me. Feraligator is arguably the best Water type starter Pokemon. Flame_Blade88

if by arguably the best you mean definitely a tier below swampert, you'de be correct.

Even though I like Chikorita, grass types have always given me a hard time, so I'll be choosing Cyndaquil

i think im gonna try chickorita this time around. i have gold and i started with todidile and i have a cyndiquil from xd gale of darkness so im gonna complete my collection

I think I'll get all three by transfering them to a friend and then erasing the game to get all three but I would only train chikorita.

I've decided on Chikorita, mainly because it's cute and I'd probably keep it in the long run.

It's the only Pokemon that keeps the cuteness factor even in evolution!:P

probably play just untill i can trade and trade each of the starters to Platnum....then i might go fer the fire type or the water....or trade them back into the game and use them all

TOTODILE FTW!!!!! He is one of my top faves to!! I just love his energy and crazyness. reminds me of myself :P

I always start with water types so I might pick totodile. But I never have any fire types so Cyndaquil can be my starter. But grass types are always my second choice if I don't pick a water type. I'm getting confused :?

I'm not sure between cyndaquill and chikorita. I like chikorita better now but I have a bond with cyndaquill as my first pokemon.

I'll give you a hint: it starts with a "T" and is the coolest water pokemon ever. lol he was my starter in gold back in the day and i kicked @%* with him!

Absolutely ecstatic about these games. No denying G/S were the pinnacle of the series and I say that as a huge Pokemon fan (I think Ruby/Saphire/Diamond/Pearl and their companion games were all high quality)

I think I will pick Totodile. That was the starter I picked when I purchased Silver

The 2nd Gen starters suffer when it comes to stat distribution in the Metagame.

If we're going on aesthetics alone, however, Totodile.

I usually always start with the water type. I barely ever use grass types but thats just me. The only starter I have ever absolutely had to have was squirtle, but out of these starters totodile.

I always start with water pokemon, and totodile is my favourite of all generations starter, so really its a no brainer. However i also liek cyndaquil so ill prob jsut get all of em by trading to my frined then trading back.
