That doesn't make sense, he asked the best 07 game, you just stated that it was released in 06. potatoman23 - you need to be level 3 to get sigs with pictures in them.
I would like to say SMG, but MP3 has some potential. I remember in 2002 when Prime 1 came out, same year as SMSunshine, and Prime totally stole it's thunder. Don't get me wrong, I want Galaxy to be amazing, but part of me still loves metroid.

ya but you know what i meant plus wii sports wasnt on my list nor was it the best wii game(i think thats the first time ive ever said or typed the word"nor" O_o)
if galaxy or brawl or metroid can come out this year, either of those game will be game of the year, unless..... microsoft decides to release halo 3 to combat either game, and Sony decideds to release MGS 4, then were going to have an interesting time figuring out game of the year.... :-P (this would be the best thing to happen to all gamers out there :))
Out of those, Galaxy, but out of all the '07 games, Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Though it will only be the second best game to come out with Solid Snake this year. However it will also probably be the only game with Solid Snake in it that I'll be playing this year.
I really am looking forward to SSX Blur and MOH: Vanguard NEXT. Also BW 2 whenever it comes out.  interesting those are the exact games i want (think of the x files theme music as you read this and it seems really erie) O_o
I did until I found out the only use of the motion sensing was finishing moves
and my bets are on BWII, since battalion wars was flawed but great, and this is adressing every single flaw that I've found! I just hope they don't bring new ones and if they don't then it's a candidate for GOTY
by the way personally i think ssbb will be the must have bad@$$ game of the year: its got great multiplayer anyone can pick up the easy controls to play awesome characters barely ever gets old different game modes (well that was what the n64 and gc versions were like) and brawl be be the same and more
 also not sure if they have been confrimed for 07 but project hammer or disaster day of crisis ii think will be great so maybe one fo them if they are 07.
