Is this normal? Lately, I've been playing games. I noticed there are white dots on the texture that flash a lot and move around. I've been hearing stories that people first had white dots, then it changed colors and eventually filled the screen. NOT HDTV ERROR. Tried SDTV
I think my wii has the same problem. It's not very noticeable. I can only see them during the opening of Zelda TP and sometimes in Brawl. They're very, very small and you need to be close to see it. Can it be my TV? I use an 11 yr old TV when playing(my family hogs the new one). Otherwise, everything is working perfectly. I hope I don't have to send my Wii, I'm getting MH3 soon. :(
I had this problem, it will get worse. Call and send your Wii to Nintendo. They changed mine with a brand new one in no time.
I heard that, leaving wiiconnect 24 on standby mode causes the overheating. After changing the Wii, I've never left it in standby. Now I have no problems with my Wii for about 3 years.
