White DSi in america?

Im looking on craigslist and I found a white DSi for 100$. I then remembered hearing that a white DSi wasn't coming out in America. I am hesitant on getting this because I am not sure about compatibility between foreign systems and american games...any info is much appreciated!

is it the pokemon white special edition?

White DSi's have been out in America for a while.

plain white DSi, not the pokemon White version...I dont see any listed on Gamestop...
