Who bought their Wii with their own money? (Poll included)

I bought it with my own money and I'm 17 :D

$250 is not that much. It took me like 2 weeks...

i don't have one yet, but i will be purchasing one soon with my own money.

Got it myself Im 26, me and my wife had a brilliant day that launch and it was probably my favourite console launch to date :).  I still play it every day providing a get a chance aswell.

i don't have one yet, but i will be purchasing one soon with my own money.

same here so by the time i heard the price of it i already saved up over $800 by launch i had over $2000 bought my self a small hd in my room the wii zelda excite truck every accsessory than ran out of money

I got it as a gift from my parents for Christmas but I had to camp out for it myself in freezing cold Canadian weather for 9 hours so I definately feel like I earned it.  I'm over 20 btw so I definately could have bought it myself.

I'm 20, and bought a Wii bundle (with a 1 SD Card, extra Wiimote, Twilight Princess, Trauma Center, Red Steel, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, Madden NFL 2007, and a 12 Month Game Informer Gift Subscription).  I spent about $790 (including tax and shipping + handling fees).  I saved up for it since the summer before it was released, because I knew I wanted a lot of games and stuff.

And it was worth every penny.  :)

this is the wii forum and i own a wii, so im here to talk about the wii, theres no rule that says you have to love the wii to be in the will forums.
