Honestly i thought i would and i know its not an exact replica or meant to be. However i am lost on why they would not allow the modifiers you can use in splitscreen offline to somehow be a part of the online which is what made the MP so good in the original goldeneye. I feel they really failed since MP has really come a long way online. Second i enjoy the levels but hate that you cannot go back, more than once i have messed up a objective to have to start an entire level over. Just a pain not impossible, i thought this was gonig to be better but i feel its not anyone else?

I actually started a thread similar to this here: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=27518655

I understand where you are coming from. The modifiers are a HUGE part of the multiplayer experience. When the original game came out online gaming via console was not an option. So you had to invite your friends over and then it was easy to debate about which modifiers you wanted to use. Before the game even came out I wondered if they would find a way to incorporate the modifiers to online mode, clearly they didn't.

As someone who simply games online with friends and/or randoms, I have yet to experience the Goldeneye Wii modifiers. I don't think I'll ever invite all my buddies over to play the game either. So essentially the modifiers are an aspect of the game I will never see.

Yes there are other problems with online, mainly host issues, as well as the lack of communication. I was a little disappointed, but unlike you I wasn't expecting a re-make. They made it clear that it would be a "reimagining" of the original.
