Who else beat Petey in Strikers?

That game is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cheap. I was playing the in a crystal cup match and got 2 megastrikes with 6 shots each, and max speed but all my shots got blocked. That sorta ended my love for the game.RyanShazam

I beat out the cheapness though. :| It can't be that cheap if I beat it, I'm no God at this game.

i hated playing diddy he was so cheap he was able to stop all of my mega strikes, and it was on the field that that zaps some of your players and then he use his special and half the time i end up with no players on the field and but diddy wasnt that bright cuz if i had that oppurtunity i would use mega strike all day lol

i dunno it all depends on what the were rank in round robin in mine it was donkey kong and bowser and peach in the top but yoshi eliminated donkey kong and he was ranked a 8th and DK was number 1

dont you hate it that you have to stick with the same players throughout all the cups? I remember in SMS for the gamecube, you could use a different character for each cup... unless im an idiot and cant figure out how to change.Haziqonfire

Yeah your right. It's meant to kinda be like one teams rise to fame though. I had to change my team after I beat the crystal cup, so I had to start all over again.

yea when i decided 2 go 2 layers with my friend he wanted to use toad but i had already chose dry bones and koopa and the other balanced one i cant remember at the moment, but yea when i got to striker cup i realized i should have gone back to hammer bros, dry bones and toad but i couldnt

something also thats gay is when the computer is just running around like idiots and slips on something facing their own goal, it crosses the line that lets you know you have scored a goal but when that happens, it doesnt count as a goal.bblla999

I just got to strikers cup, I beat the fire cup with Mario and was in the middle of crystal cup when i decided to start over. Playing with DK now , I am undefeated going into strikers cup. oh no actually I lose one round to diddy in the crystal cup championship in sudden death.

When you're in the knockout rounds, click on the 'Schedule' button and there's a really nice screen which shows who of the qualifiers (from the leaderboard round) is playing who. While you progress through the knockout you can then view who beat who and by how many points so you can predict who you'll be playing in the final knockout round.

I beat Petey earlier this week. During the leaderboard round I won the first 2 games, then went up against Bowser Jr, who somehow flattened me 6-1:shock: but then I went on to win all of the remaining leaderboard games (I got the Brick Wall award but failed to get the Golden Boot, Bowser Jr had over 50 goals to his name!!).

Anyway, when I got to the knockout round I clicked on Schedule and saw that Bowser Jr was on the right hand side, his first match vs DK, while I was on the left hand side, my first vs Mario. Each round I checked, in the hope that Bowser Jr would be knocked out before I had to face him. Unfortunately, I did face him in the final of the knockout, but flattened him 5-0 8)

Petey I beat 3-2, 1-2, 4-1.
