who else is extremley hyped for Super Mario Galaxy?!?!

the graphics imo look amazing, have you seen the water??? jeez nintendo did a good job of pushing the wii to its limits...

mario just doesnt keep me entertained long enough to juststify its purchase.

not to mention most of the footage i have seen is running around for a few seconds then once again being shot off through space...run around for 3 seconds again and back into those star cannon things.

why should ai buy a game because some one else is?

mario 64 and sunshine both lacked a decient story that compelled me to play the game. both imo lacked content only increasing hte life of a short game by adding in more stars that are just in diffrent locations on the map, etc.

i was going to give galaxy a chance simply because my wii needs at least one game that isnt wiisports...and the more i watched and learned about SMG the more and more it looked like sm64...and the less and less i felt like picking this game up.

Well then you're missing out on a great game that Gamespot may actually give an AAA on and even though you see mario running from world to world in a short span, it's because you're watching videos of worlds at the beginning of the gamne. Believe me there will be huge expansive worlds, as well.

great game is an opinion. i personally think halo3 is the most average game i have ever played, and im starting to wonder if reviewers were givin a gold and jewel encrusted copy of halo3 sent from god. AAA on this site means little to nothing.

big worlds still dont help fill the games with lots of content, and when i say content im not saying give me more stars, i mean give me more variety, story, depth, etc.

no, i have a diffrent taste than you in games.

i dont like a concept of a generic italian plumber running around in space collecting stars...

mario never gets developed in the games to be a full character, hes just an icon.

that right there is a huge turn off for me, considering im prodomenetly a rpg gamer.

Well maybe platformers just aren't for you. I'm pretty sure Mario Galaxy has some of the most variety i've seen in a platformer. Space is a new theme to the Mario franchise, different levels of gravity, at least 6 different suits, 6 huge beautiful worlds and 40 galaxies. Not to mention secrets along the way. Not even including things like the racing and skating stages. We havent even seen the surface of what SMG has to offer. But to each his own.
