Been playing it for about a week, and it's been a blast. I love having a sword in this game, as well as some other ridiculous weapons not in GTA IV. My only complaint, however, is the ease of single cops to pull you out of a car that you've just jacked, and that you get no chance to just run away.
I was worried that this would be a watered-down GTA game, but I was not disappointed. The game looks amazing, plays great, and is just a whole lot of fun.
I waited a week or so after I got my DSi to pick CTW up.. I waited a week too long.
Not only the best DS game I have, I would put CTW up with Vice City. The game is just pure fun. I am still in awe at how they packed so much into a handheld game.. Not to mention the carjacking minigames are just cool :D
The game was very addicting but the thing that upsets me about it is that Rockstar is making the game for the PSP as well and i really thought that it would be only for the DS.It had me thinking before that the DS finally got its own GTA game but i guess i'm wrong about that now.

I picked this up and have only played the first half hour, but I was very impressed with the producation value, especially for a DS game. I was having a ton of fun, but decided I needed to finish up a few other games I had before moving on. Glad to hear people love it and that it is indeed a great game, I'll join the ranks of loving it very soon.

The initial sales weren't stellar considering the size of the DS userbase. I would expect a game like this to have legs though, but I don't blame R* from wanting to spread such a good game everywhere they can. Besides, the DS version will be superior anyways, they will have to dumb too many things down without a touchpad or second screen to work with.

I feel so bad for not owning a copy. I just borrowed mine from a friend. This almost makes me want to go out and buy it :P Maybe when I have cash.
Coz there is a lot of underage kids who own DS/DSi's and they cant buy the game!! Fantastic game though, only got it a couple of days ago and im loving every minute!
