I've been thinking, and I really want a Kirby game for the Wii. Especially if they did it right. ;)
Who else agrees with me? :)

I want a 3d Kirby game that is done right. DO not telll me it cannot be done because I heard the same arguements about a 3d Mario game before Mario 64 came out.
Masahiro Sakurai could literally reinvent an amazing series. A series that has lost some of its breath in the last few years. New Kirby games esp. on the DS are good games but they are only shadows of their former glory, they lack new gameplay.
Have you seen the TV comercials for Kirby Super Star Ultra (specifically the non-in game cut scenes). Those VERY SAME GRAPHICS should be the ones a 3-D Kirby videogame should have. I know that -if Sakurai & the rest of the HAL team made a decent effort- the game should be excellently done & executed. And knowing how fast the Wii is still selling, as well as that there's a large enough consumer base craving for such videogame, it's almost impossible such videogame would be a sales failure.

absolutely, its been far too long and id wish nintendo spent more time on some of their other franchises as well since people rely far too much on just mario, zelda, and metroid, its time for some of their other great franchise to step into the spot light.

absolutely not, anything that distracts nintendo from the holy trinity of gaming, (mario, zelda, metroid), is a bad idea

I concur. It's been about eight years or so for both Kirby and DK, and there hasn't been a "real" Star Fox game (I liked both GC games, but they didn't feel like a real Star Fox) in about 11 years.
I guess that if there are any Mother fans here, we have no right to complain about waiting for this long.

How can you say "no" to this face?

And oh I would love that. Kirby 64 and Air Ride are IMO one of the best games on their systems and very underrated. I'd love another.
Star Fox, Kirby, Donkey Kong need to come back to life.kardineStar Fox and Kirby yes, but I personally would only want to see Donkey Kong come back if it would be more like Donkey Kong Country; I just haven't been interested in any of the recent Donkey Kong games.

Just because Donkey Kong 64 was not like DKC does not detract from DK64 being one of the best games of its generation. If they were to make another DK game there is no question who the developer would be and that is Nintendo Tokyo EAD.

Personally I don't care one way or the other, as long as it's good. But if they do a 3D game, I can see something along the lines of SMG. Not so much an open world game like older Mario platformers (and 3D platformers in general), but kind of like the 3D version of 2D platformers. This way it could evolve the series, while keeping what the devs feel the series is about (which was why they haven't made the series 3D yet).I want a 3d Kirby game that is done right. It would be like Metroid Prime was to the oldschool Metroid.[QUOTE="Zeus-Guy"][QUOTE="kardine"]Star Fox, Kirby, Donkey Kong need to come back to life.kardineStar Fox and Kirby yes, but I personally would only want to see Donkey Kong come back if it would be more like Donkey Kong Country; I just haven't been interested in any of the recent Donkey Kong games. DK 64 is one of my favorite games of all time, but alas, rare has gone to the dark side.
