I lost 70 pounds the day I purchased but nothing since then :P.
Not really though, I don't plan on buying because its too expensive for what it is, maybe if the board is ever needed for a game I will pick it up.
I bought it just for fun and i think i gained weight but im still in the normal range, i think i almost have a perfect BMI. But my mom hasnt lost any weight and my little bro didnt lose much either i dont think.sullivan352the sad thing is its not a game where you want to play for fun and lose weight you have to work at it everyday if you want to see weight loss results
I haven't lost any weight, as I'm pretty fit to beging with (I'm sitting at under 21 BMI). But I have learned a lot about my posture, as the tests show I lean a little to the left and back when I'm standing normally. This would explain a little about my back problems.
I mainly wanted wiifit for the yoga stuff and I have to say i'm not disappointed. Some of those poses make me stretch stuff i never knew was there.
Many of the strangth exercises are very similar (and work out the same muscles) as the excercises we did in the army. I can vouch for their effectiveness. Actually, I'm starting to like the wiifit versions more, because they are less stressful on the joints while still working out the same muscles.
Over all I think the program is pretty good. I think if some one really dedicated and pushed themselves with the activities then they could increase their physical fitness. The aerobic stuff is easily outgrown, however. At least for me, it was. The balance games are not the most exciting things either, but the yoga and strength sections are really good.
im not big on the strength part mainly cause i tried the pushups first and when they got to the planks i was cussing out the trainer but i love the yoga and the aerobics (mainly the basic run) cause they really give you a workoutI haven't lost any weight, as I'm pretty fit to beging with (I'm sitting at under 21 BMI). I've lost some because it's fun doing the cardio.
I like lifting heavy things and then lifting heavy things again. My favorite kind of cardio is lifting heavy things at a pace where I can pretend it's cardio.
Wii Fit allows me to do cardio that's just fun and makes me want to do more. I'll spend 2 hours or more trying to beat my high scores on the cardio spots whereas if I'm on the treadmill at the gym I'll jump off the second I hear that my salt and lemon juice eyewash is ready.
I also enjoy the yoga. I don't have to worry about my core because I've always done a pretty good job of integrating Eastern/Western philosophies into my workouts
lol it took me one day to find mineI have.
From walking to the store so much because I can't find it. *ba dum psh* :P

Yeah i noticed it wasnt a game just for fun after about a week or 2. I havent played it in a while since you get more exercise outside and its more fun playing football or basketball with friends than jogging in place in my living room.
well i dont have this game but I have this for your avatar if you want

Your sig is awsome!
Anyway I havent tried it but i want to.
I love WiiFit, but I'm actually trying to gain about 8 lbs so I tend to stay away from the aerobics. But the balance, strength, and yoga stuff is a great supplement to a regular workout.presto7640

holy crap omg! Its a British joke! I get it. It took me a sec but I got it
I've gained weight
but it's not really a problem, I got a bmi of 22
I've used it like once a month lol
Unless you play for 3h hours EVERY day i dont think its possible to lose weight with this. The money u use to buy the game plus the wii could be used for a gym membership, which if used, could REALLY make you lose weighttwilight_69
lol you don't have the game then?
it's basically the same as bein at the gym if you take it seriously, but then again you gotta take a gym seriously too
