Who prefers the origional DS to the DS lite?

Its alot more solid, comfy, easier to hold and also looks 10 times better than the lite.

Who cares if it wont fit in my pocket? Who puts a DS lite in their pocket anyway? If im taking it out id just put it in my bag anyway, but i mainly play DS at home anyways.

I put the DS Lite in my pocket often, it's convenient. And yes i'm not surprise that you prefer the phat DS more but you're in the minority.

My DS goes every where with me so having the small portable lite is VERY nice....plus I think the DSlite looks a lot sheeker then the DS Phat....either way as long as it plays games I could care less.

Given that my girlfriend's Lite has a cracked hinge already and she barely uses it, I'm extremely wary of its build quality (or lack of).

However, the old DS is ugly as hell. It's just clunky, awkwardly shaped and has all the grace of a bloated hippo. Plus, the screens are garbage and the stylus is about as useful as a toothpick.

However, it's built like a tank.

I wish I could have it all.

Same here, but only because I own a phat. The lite, to me, looks cleaner, but I will consider buying one when a price drop occurs solely for the weight and brighter screens.jjtiebuckle

I like the d-pad on the old DS. Much better and easier to use IMO. However the Lite looks much better.
