Hey peeps, I was just thinking that Clubhouse Games is the greatest value ever since The Orange Box. When it was first released, because it was so hard to find, the only way you would get to play the game is to drop $50 on eBay. Then luckily for us, it was re-released for only $20. The fact that there is Mahjong makes this game so much greater in value.
Yeah I noticed that it was re-released along with Hotel Dusk. I've been loving this game since it first came out and I still contend that it's one of, if not the best game on the DS.
maybe it's cause i don't play it wifi, but i find that clubhouse games as a 1 player venture is really boring and clumsy.
i can understand why the shortcomings (functionality-wise) wouldn't be such a big deal when playing with other users that face the same issues. but the computer a.i. (especially in texas hold em), and the u.i. (especially in darts) is really.. well, not good, to say the least.
i've seen enough praise for this game. but i'm sure there are sympathizers with me with regards to this game and its single player value. for 20 bucks, i'd rather be playing hotel dusk, but that might just be me.
