Honestly they should just stop making Mario Party games. The last 6 of them have been horrible. I'd rather have an actual game, not a bunch of minigames, I already have enough of them on Wii.
If they did it right, it would be cool. I hope it doesn't flop like the last 7. In my honest opinion the only epic mario party was the first, the rest were really repetetive.
I think if they included minigames which utilised the touch screen and microphone and had wifi and DS-to-DS connectability then it could prove to be quite fun, but if they release one without wi-fi in particular then it'll just be another heartless cash-in.

It's not that good of an idea honestly. They already have 8 Mario Party games out anyway so adding more to the crappy series isn't going to help. I mean they're making Guitar Hero 3 for the DS which is very weird.
yeah if it had wifi, singlecard download play and the games use all the features of the ds and not all games have to be 100% touchscreen enabled theres a d pad and buttons for a reason.
I have always been surprised at all the new minigames they come up with for each Mario Party game. With the DS and its touch screen. Think of all the possibilites. They probably will make a Mario Party DS.
I'd like to see Mario Party for the DS and a Paper Mario type of game for the DS as well...similar adventure wise, but not the actual Paper Mario because that is too graphical for DS. But yeah. More classic Mario games should be freshened up for the DS. :)

Well spoken. I'm happy to see most people don't want to see another Mario Party as only the die hard fans have really stuck with the series over the years while everyone else basically shrugs them off. No, I would not like to see a Mario Party game for the DS. Sonic vs Mario Olympics will be a big ole' collection of mini games to fix your Mario mini-game needs.
