I don't hate Pokemon. I'm just not interested. Not my thing.

I hate the TV show through.

It has stupid names and it's boring? Ooookay. Pokemon is not stupid, if for the sole reason that it continues to be a blockbuster seller after all these years and very little innovation in the series. And anyway...it does have a kind of kiddie veneer on it, but underneath all that is a fairly deep RPG (at least for a handheld system) that can be very rewarding. If you didn't play every game that had a stupid name on it, you'd miss a lot of great games.theragu40

Not stupid in the least, and to say that Pikachu is a stupid name, is just, well, stupid. I still like to play the games, and if I am ever awake after working the graveyard shift, I will definitely watch the TV show and enjoy it.

Pikachu is a lot more original than TPfan222.

I still enjoy the handheld Pokemon games, theyre pretty fun games if you take the time to get into them.

I've playedit through most of elementary school, then in middleschool, all my friends became self-righteous pre-pubecent teenagers -so everybody was convinced that they were "too old for it" (lawl sorry 13 yr old noob, play the game and stop cryin')

now, in my senior year of highschool,a fewof my friends asked me to pick up diamond version,a perfect addition for anyone's DS.

Now stop pretending that your "too old" for sh*t and just play the game like a good little 13 yr old. ya na?

Man I love it when 13 year olds try to bash something like Pokemon, just cause they think it'll make them look mature; especially by calling it "stupid". My older brother recently bought himself a DS Lite with Pokemon Diamond, and he's 19! I'm 16 and probably won't play Pokemon again (lost interest after Crystal version), but I certainly don't think it's stupid.

But the show sucks, just like every other anime.

Duh, nothin's cooler than gettin through Mount Cornetto (meh, don't care, i like ice-cream) and reaching Spear Pillar, after levelling up your Pokemon by battling a hell of a lot of trainers and wild cave Pokemon, just to find that dreams come true in the form of a giant Dialga (or Palkia) distorting time (or space) at the summit. And then proceeding to catch said Dialga in your only damn Masterball you won by humiliating Cyrus in a battle at Galactic Towers.

Duh, pure storytelling gold.
