No. I already have SMS on the GC so why do I want another remake? Would you rather Nintendo use their resources on remaking games or making new ones? Yea, but this could be like a quick side job just like the new mario power tennis, pikmins and metroids. :P

Super Mario Galaxy controls where you aim the FLUDD instead of shooting star bits, priced no more than $20 and all without devoting much time or resources to hamper whatever other projects they may be working on and I'm there. If such a project would delay the release of the next Zelda or Mario by even a month though, I'd disagree with such remakes.
That is a terrible idea. The whole pro-Pikmin thing has been "Hey let's spread the word" You can take away that since everyone already knows Mario. Which leaves the reason for this to happen... what again?

You want Nintendo to recycle their worst generation ever in the company's history and I want them to make new games to go with their new hardware.
It's a crazy concept to make new software for new hardware but I think if Nintendo tries hard enough and doesn't waste time remaking games everyone can already play then maybe, juuuust maybe, we'll see them pull it off
Here's an even crazier idea: what if Nintendo not only made a new game instead of rereleasing already available ones, but actually made a new game with new characters? You know, like, instead of Mario or Link, it could be "George" or "Georgia" and instead of the Mushroom Kingdom or Hyrule it could be set in.... ancient China! And instead of rescuing a princess you'd be... saving the Emperor's people from evil dragons and rival warlords plotting to overthrow him! Ooh! Day 1 buy!
I don't think they should. To be honest, I'm not really liking the whole idea of them making wiimakes because all they are really doing is making you buy the same game again with new controls. New controls, for me, don't justify another purchase. :( What they should do, is take this money and try to start making some new games instead of constantly recycling the same characters over and over again.
If Nintendo Wii-makes too many GameCube titles, then it'll tarnish the good history that GameCube brought us. I know some of us consider the GameCube a failure, but it did come out with great games like Melee, Soul Caliber 2, Star Wars Rogue Leader, Resident Evil 4, Viewtiful Joe, and many others. And let's not forget that it made wireless controllers popular again with the WaveBird.
Nintendo should just build new games from the ground up with the Wii controls rather than tacking them on existing games.
I'd prefer a new Mario game rather than them doing a re-make of Sunshine. Sunshine was fun for me and I wasn't disappointed with it. Galaxy on the other hand for me was amazing and I'd much rather see something new than a re-make of Sunshine. :) Besides, we have to work on topping Galaxy now. :)
YES! I mean of course Galaxy was better, but Super Mario Sunshine is still one of my favorite games of all time. Everyone who hated it is crazy. What is there to hate?! (besides the camera)
As long as they're making Wiimakes Sunshine would be one of the better options, but they definitely shouldn't do anything more than they are doing with the other remakes, adding new controls. Nintendo should spend all their excess money on new projects.
First of all remake and sequels are the only thing keeping the gaming market going. second, all sequel games are only half as good as their predecessors. Third, Nintendo are taking too long to make new games. Fourth, to many crap games out this gen. Fifth, I can't be bothered to carry on because if your a true Nintendo fan you already know this. I honestly thought they would have had Mario Sunshine for Wii, honestly I don't know why that game recieves so much hate, it was a good game, some parts were better then Mario Galaxy...in fact Gamecube in general was an underestimated machine...some good games came then...games like that don't seem to appear on Wii...instead you get an infinite amount of crappy shovelware that is released every minute of everyday.
Remakes are often nice, but it should be remakes of games that were good in the first place. Mario Sunshine was ok, but not at all as good as "normal" mario games are. I would rather see remakes of the first 3 mario games (so it would look more like "Wario Land - Shake it" :)
NO ME.. I'm tired of these re-makes.. that is all nintendo has been doing since the gameboy advance.. nintendo needs to keep sticking to sequals and other new games, remakes were cool for the first few years, but this is the new generation games need to grow up just like the gamers enough with this changing and re-creating old ideas and games, I want something new
