Who thinks there white DS lite is darker than its supposed to be?

The screen is still a little dark when I put it on 2nd brightness. Is it supposed to be like that or is it supposed to be brighter?

Their are four settings for brightness. I set mine on the third setting and it seems to be ok.

HUH?? If I play in well lit area, it's on the 1st or 2nd setting. If I'm in a dark area, it's on the 3rd or 4th.
