I'm currently using Techgear screen protectors that I bought from Amazon. I feel as if the bottom screen is less sensitive while using them, but I feel safer. I have read others say its best not to use them on the top screen, and even have seen others say not to use them entirely. So what's everyone's experience?

I ALWAYS use screen protectors for the touch screen. Scratched screens are extremely unattractive.

I've never had problems with Hori screen protectors. Many people like using hori as well.

Put screen protectors on mine day one. Why wouldn't you, one thing less to worry about.

Work at a cellphone store. Grabbed 2 off the shelves, one crappy one and one reeeeally good one for the bottom screen. Feels like glass on the bottom.

I have no need for screen protectors...the device closes and protects the screen when not in use. I'm incredibly careful with my handhelds, my gameboy pocket's screen is scratch free to this day.

I use a screen protector for my Wii U. Originally, I didn't, but when my fiancee and her four year old moved in, it became an obvious necessity. That, and a silicone skin for the Gamepad. The touchscreen doesn't seem any less sensitive, but the image is a bit on the fuzzy side. I can deal with that.

i do on my 3DS ever since i accidentally scratched my DS screen many moons ago. a bit of grit got under my stylus and i could feel it scratching the screen. i only use it on the touch screen though.

stick it on and they last years. very handy.
