The old Rare on SNES/N64, yes. The Rare right now on 360, no.

Only for the VC, bring on Goldeneye. Perfect Dark on the 360 sucked big time

No, their games were getting weak and devoid of imagination.

They did a wonderful job of destroying Donkey Kong by running it into the ground with the same boring premise over and over and over. Their time had passed and others knew it. They're a good second tier company but they are not and have never been a first stringer.

Nintendo had the chance to have them. They looked over their library and their creators in house and said "no biggie". So far Nintendo has shown to be clairvoyant when it comes to business decisions the last few years. I don't doubt this one either.

THAT'S why I never finished the game. I forgot how every level had exactly the same objectives AND required you to repeat the objective with several characters. I wouldn't mind getting some of their good games on the VC, though.

I take it you didn't like the Donkey Kong Country games?

Jasonguy how can you say that? The games Rare made for Donkey Kong were the best ones. They did a good job of destroying Donkey Kong? Lol Rare made Donkey Kong very popular with the Country series and DK64, now that Rare left the games are going horribly. Can you say that the bongo games and the new racing game for Wii are better than the Rare games? Look at the ratings dude, they were rated very low, especially compared to the older games. I think that you just don't like the series and you're just trying to back up Nintendo like you always do. So according to your strange view, we should destroy the premises that made the older games so great and instead be creative like racing and bongo games that made no money.

Most of the Nintendo franchises have the same premises in each game and are very popular.

I don't mind them but it's the same exact thing over and over and over.

They're not DKC 1, 2, and 3. It's DKC 1, 1.25, and 1.50

rare sucked anyway, who needs them right now, and besides do you think anyone wants to play with monkeys anymore, lol, donkey kountry 64 sucked, but since wii is more gameplay focused maybe they can revive the old school games that were more popular on snes.

I do. They could Wiimake Perfect Dark 64 using the same story with better graphics, Wii controls, and online multiplayer. Forget hotcakes, that game would sell like Wiis!!!

I could care less about Rare's current games. The potential for Rare VC games, however, is a different story. If Perfect Dark came to the VC with a consistent framerate I'd shed tears of joy.

Rare now has been terrible. I feel sorry for them. They had great games for nintendo. Star Fox adventures was way better than assault. It was an embarrasment for Star fox.
