The earliest I might get it is this Saturday, but I am definately buying New Play Control Pikmin as soon as I can. I am still iffy about wheather or not I will like Madworld enough to merit a purchase. The scoring system is the strongest argument for me to buy it.

No, at first I was thinking about it when we got the first news on it. And now that I know the story and what it's really about some more I don't want it.
I probably want it more than most here, but Amazon doesn't seem to be able to ship it until next week. Thats fine though, it'll be waiting for me when I come back from spring break. Gonna play Valkyria Chronicles till then.
this game in going to go through No More Heroes syndrome. its not going to sell really well so i will be able to pick it up new online for 20-30 bucks in a month or two on amazon, then i will have a blast. people are going to hate saying its too short/repetitve, or that the stylish graphics is just the way to mask an unfinished game or something stupid like that, while we all know its great. i wish i had 50 bucks to drop on it right now though.

I`m but not on release... next moth (no a price drop thing, but I jsut would not have the time to play until april so I do not see the point) I`m just can make time for one game this week and it would be RE5 (do not get me wrong, just being waiting for a RE sequel for tooooooooo many years :P ) Hope it gets the support.. I`ll get new thus (always buy my games used, but this guys deserve to be fully supported - pry 1st game I do this- and as I know used game do not help the charts :oops: ) Enjoy gaming..

Look, I'm in love with the game, this and Klonoa are essentially my own personaly GOTYs. But MadWorld is NOT for everyone. None of Clover's games have been. Viewtiful Joe was probably their best mainstream success and thats not saying very much. They are a relatively niche developer, maybe a step above Atlus. I'd love for this game to do well, but not because people are SUPPOSED to buy it. This honestly can't compete to mass media market bliss games, and its really not trying to. Its intent is super focused and it appears to hit its mark. That should be good enough. As long as it sells enough to not justify itself as a flop, I think we can call it a day on this whole "NO ROOM FOR HARDCORE/LACK OF GAMES" thing.
Unfortunately I have to wait a month before I can purchase it. Once I go back home for vacation I'll make sure to pick it up. I just can't do it right now.
Would if I had a Wii, but I got my friend to pre-order it for himself. He didn't think much about the game till I showed him the trailers, so I think I did my part :P

same here, but i just paid out. the gs dude said it will be in tomorrow @ 2 c.t. then i scurried off and finally purchased HotD:OK. Sega is getting all of my monies recently, and as long as they keep publishing devs who are making quality titles for wii. ill keep giving them my moolah:) sega ftw!!
If You get one game this first quarter, get madworld. Not that i'm ordering You. I'm gently pushing the box in Your hands. HaHA it has superglue on it. Just get it if You're doubting :( There's a lot of love put in and it's a great game. No more heroes fans, violence fans, wackiness fans, stylish fans, upset-the-government fans, should get it.
