Who's getting Mega Man Tommorrow?

You people probably know that Mega Man 1 is releaseing on the NA VC, with Mega Man 9 comeing in September.

I will be getting it tommorow with my 500 spare points and if I like it enough I will get 2 and 9, so what about you?

Here is the Satement:

The orginal Mega Man game returns on the Virtual Console this Monday, August 4, 2008. Yes, that's right. Brush up on your old school skills and prepare for some cool contests we have in store. Yeah, if you want Mega Man, there isn't really a better deal than the Anniversary Collection for the Gamecube.

for the anniversary collection, didn't they invert the placement of the A & B buttons which makes it awkward to control? thats why i was allways nervous about picking it up.CharlieStinks

I think it controls perfectly fine, but I never played the game on the NES.

Oh, 1 is coming out tomorrow? I will be getting it along with Shining Force 2, then.

Same here. Given that you can find the collection in just about any EB / Gamestop, you'd be a fool to pay $5 for Mega Man.

I'd prefer to play Megaman on the VC. I can then use the Wii-mote like a NES pad and play the game how it was meant to be played. Not with some clunky GCN controller.toadster101

If that's the case, just get the PS2 version instead. The controls are more true to the NES versions, it's a better value, it comes with the Mega Man Complete Works remixed tracks and has the first episode of the cheesy 1994 Mega Man cartoon.

It's not Sonic from the Game Gear. It's the Sonic from the Sega Master System, which was later ported to the Game Gear, that's why they look the same.
