I've beaten the gamecube version within the past year or so.

I'm going to get this version though for the extra content and the controls update. It's a great game and I'm sure that I'll play through it a couple more times with the upgraded weapons and such. It will probably be the best 3rd party shooter. Metroid Prime will be a great first person shooter/RPG/Exploration/Puzzle and will fill so many roles, but RE4 has a different feel and will be a great game and continue to be played often.

Picking it up on launchday. Best RE game EVER, and best horror/survival/action EVER. Imo.

The controls looked finished and seem to be adding an extra dimension. Wich doens't happen that much with other wii games...(based on previews).

Well of course I will be getting it.....seeing that I already own if for the GC, PS2, and PC why would'nt I add to my collection of RE4??

I'll be getting it, but I won't be getting it the day it comes out or anything, maybe a few days or weeks down the road.

I already own it for the GC, so that cuts down on the appeal of getting it, but I'm going to anyway because:

I never got the PS2 version, so I never got to play the extra content that came with that one. I'm am interested in playing the game with the Wii controller, I think it should add a good amount of fun to an already great game. Lastly, it's 30 bucks. I was tempted to buy it at the 50 dollar price point when the PS2 version came out, only for the new content they had added. I decided that it wasn't worth it, and never bought it. Now that they are offering that content, plus the Wii controls, it'll be great for $30. If only they had trained Leon to maybe move when he shoots and/or strafe in his next outing...alas, it'll still be fun.

Same Here. Owned and beaten the GCN version about three times, excellent game. Anyone know how much the WIi edition will cost? If its under $29, Ill probably buy it and beat it again with wii controls. I watched a video and it looks way more intene and scary compared to a regular control stick, because you actually have to aim by pointing the wii-mote. hopefully its good.

I am definitely getting it because I had an XBox last gen and never got a GCN or a PS2. It's like playing a new Wii game for me, not just an old version with new controls. For $30 this game is definitely worth it if it's half as good as everyone says it is.
