Mine is ever since i bought it the only fun game i've played is wii sports with my friends which lasted for only a couple of hours. I was expecting Zelda TP to be one of the greatest games ever but it really wasn't, and did not live up to the hype. So far i've just been playing gears of war and the halo 3 beta which has been fun. Now what Nintendo needs to do is release Super Mario RPG for the VC and other good games not these other crappy games noone cares about, then my wii will be used all the time. Also with rumours of paper mario for the n64 coming out tommorow i might just go out to ebgames to get some wii points to buy this game and relive memories. Also Nintendo needs to release super smash brothers brawl, and it needs online play badly... And it would be nice if the online was actually decent i'm not asking for it to be good as xbox live since i have a 360, but something where its not so laggy and maybe with a rank system please. Also nintendo needs to give a lot of info at e3, btw when is e3 this year i heard it's in july or something... Ok so thats about it so until some vc games come out that i like and ssbb comes out my 360 will be the console i use and the wii will be collecting dust, and maybe i'll play it occassionally for wii sports and super smash bros for the gamecube. Just to let you people know im not bashing the wii here i'm just saying what i would like to see nintendo do and what i want for the system, and when my requirements are fufilled i will be playing my wii 24/7. Ok i just had to get that out, and for the people who think i dont have a wii i'll even post my friend code if you want just to prove it to you all. That is all rant over.
not mine... of corse i just got it yesterday!!!. buy just wait tiil other games come out that use the online capabilities. but yea mines not im addicted to wii sports and im gonna get my WIFI adapeter and MSC (mario strikers charged) and mario party 8

Wii sports will only last a couple of hours and yeah i've been pretty patient for some good games to come out since november. So far everything the wii has offered is pretty much minigames nothing to big yet. And Zelda TP is a GC port. So i'm still waiting for that one big game which will proablly be ssbb. So hopefully nintendo keeps it's word that it will come out in 2007. But glad to see you're enjoying the wii it has a lot of potential and it's selling really well.
Right now, I don't play at it since I'm working very hard and I'll have vacations next week. People who are complaining don't have a life at all. Do others things. IMO, it's not worth to have 2 consoles or more since you know that you'll play on 1 more than the other. All you want is all now. Nintendo gave the 3rd party an opportunity to shine. They screwed up because they thought that Wii won't sell. Now, it's nearly at 7 milions units sold. They have to make some crappy ports.
Im with blaster. my wii has seen very little play time since i got it last month and i am seriously considering selling it. I wouldn't mind it so much if nintendo would do something more than make VC games. I didnt want a next gen system to play last gen games. I know the systems only half a year old but we should at least have one or two good games out. 360 had perfect dark zero and PS3 has Resistance. I want some info from ninty about online! Nintendo has all the momentum possible with the wiis sells and what have the done to capitalize on it? They are doing what they did to the gamecube last gen making promises and then not delivering on them. Flame all you want but i had to say something.

Last year, before I have my Wii and I wanted to fill my lack of Wii so I played on Wii Sports on demo in a shop center like 3-4 times per week in front of many people and I didn't get tired of it. However, I played on Gears of War and I got tired of it after 6 hours. Am I normal?
you should try The Godfather:BlackHand Edition, Dragon Ball Z:BT2, Trauma Center. Those are some fun games, especially the Godfather. Haziqonfire
I actually saw my cousion play all those games on his wii except for trauma center. He lives in canada and got his wii modded so he can download games for free off a certain website, the godfather look ok and dragonball z looked decent, he uploaded the japanese verson of the game because he said that he didn;t like the way the english voice acting sounded, but all the japanese vocals in that sounded like little kids goku sounded like a girl lol. But there is one gaem that looked interesting and that super paper mario. I like the paper mario series so i might get that and wario ware is pretty good as well.

Super Paper Mario and The Godfather are pretty good games, may want to check one of those out.
I don't play every day anymore, but I'm still slowly working on a couple games. A new game is what I need right now. Maybe Mario Party 8. But I think I'll wait for some reviews on that.

The godfather is actually some what of a 'Sleep Hit' i would say. Its a really great game. Despite being a 'port', it adds Wiimote funcitionality, as well as extra content.

first of all i don't think you should comment on people having "no life". Second of of all you're on a gamesite and you know noone here and 3rd of all you're a level 33 here btw so you really have no right to comment on whether people here have a life or not. And like i said you're on a gamesite don't comment on people having "no life". And for the whole complaining part this is a game site most of the topics are complaints about video games and thats how it's supposed to be. And how do poeple with two systems have no life? MAybe it's becasue they can afford two systems? So does that mean people with no systems have more of a life than people with one system? And by looking at you're motto i think you answer you're own question about gears and getting bored after 6 hours. Im not trying to start anything but i think i speak for a certain amount of people here.
had both the 360 and Wii since each of their respective launch dates, and there are maybe 4 games i bother to play on my 360, and there are only 2 games i ever play on my Wii, both havent been played in over a month and are just sitting, collecting dust on my entertainment center.
got my launch day and played it for like 2 months. Then i was hit by WoW and i couldn't stop. Luckily i got off before i was completely consumed by it(unilike my friend /cry). Im hopin that when mp3, BWii, and ssbb comes out my interest in the wii will renew.
Yeah the novelty-ness of the Wiimote really wore off. It no longer has that giddy feel when holding it and playing games with it. Now it feels like any other controller I guess. There hasn't been any big games that utilized it.
Mine was, until I rented EXCITE TRUCK. That game is tons of fun. I find myself screaming obscenities at the screen for hours. I will definitely be buying it once my rental period is over! Great game!@
Mine can go weeks without attention but thats only because I have many great games on other platforms. They all get some decent love now and again, depends what I'm in the mood for.
