Comfort.

It's just an attachment that goes on the Wii remote. No difference at all.

A true light gun is a device that has a light sensitive sensor to activate it's controls. Usually triggered by flashes on the screen, either on the target you are aiming for or otherwise. The Wii remote has a proximity sensor that feeds off of the sensor bar on the television, eliminating the need for a light sensitive control, like other systems need. This device you pictured workslike a Wii steering wheel or the other various guns available that usually relocate the B button to a trigger position with a pistol grip. It's just an attachment, but if it were for another system, it would actually have a light sensor in it, because other systems don't have a sensor bar by default like the Wii. The attachments do help, though. You won't fatigue your hands and wrists as much on shoot-em-up games.

Any time. The only stupid questions are the ones left unasked!

I wouldn't buy that to play Resident Evil 4. Those plastic shells only really work for on-rails shooters.

The gun accessories work best mainly for rail shooters. For Resident Evil 4, you shoot by holding down B to draw your weapon and actually fire by using the A button so simply pulling on the trigger won't make you fire your weapon. Likewise, you reload by holding B and pressing the D-pad. You'll be using the face buttons quite a bit (A for picking up items, - for inventory, etc.) So unless you're going to be playing alot of rail shooters. the gun accessory really isn't necessary and definitely shouldn't be used for Resident Evil 4 (you should definitely pick up the game though, it's absolutely fantastic :P).
