http://www.metacritic.com/games/wii/ - HOnestly, Metacritic is the only place you're really going to find fair and accurate reviews since they compile from dozens of sites.
Personally I stopped reading GS reviews back in May after it was pretty clear they refused to ever give WiiWare games a fair shake. When Lost Winds got a 5.5 it was pretty clear something was wrong. A website can only shoot itself in the foot so many times before you just can't give them any more credibility.
Post about it in the Site Enhancements forum as "feedback" (check the forum header there for info on that). Whatever the deal is, it's more beneficial for them to see your opinion in that forum.
I guarantee that the editorial team wasn't happy about the Tiger Woods delay. They know that it's terrible to be that late on a review of such a popular game, but it's probably not entirely in the editors' power to get all the reviews done in a timely fashion. I don't know specifically why that is, but the greater the number of people who speak up about it, the greater the chance of its getting fixed (hopefully).
I agree. That Lost Winds review was abysmal and couldn't be more wrong. After that, I'm suspicoius of every review. That reviewer is a clownflazzle
Don't judge him entirely based on one review. I agree that he couldn't be more wrong with his Lost Winds review, but I've seen several good reviews from him since. It's hard to get that first impression out of the way, but he's made up for it in my opinion.

ohh wait...we just got some much needed reviewing for spider man:WoS
finally!!! ive been waiting for this since launch...way to go gamespot:roll:
Yeah, thats why I prefer IGN for reviews, they are so prompt and lots of previews and up to date news as well. Gamespot is great forums though, and when they do release reviews you can at least count on them not overhyping a game.
Doesn't really bother me, I go to IGN first, then Metacritic/Gamerankings. I don't base whether I buy a game or not entirely on one review, I tend to research it a fair bit first. That's just me though.
To be completely honest the forums are the only thing I use on Gamespot. The Wii coverage (or lack thereof) drags so far behind IGN it might as well not be there.
The release of recent games worth reviewing for it are rare and slow.Englando_IV
Are you suggesting that only good games are worthy of a review? How will we know when a game is good enough to review without reviewing it?
GS stopped reviewing VC titles a long time ago.
Other than Megaman 9 there hasn't been any Wiiware titles in a long time.
It takes like 3-5 days after release for them to finally to put a review for Wii.
I'd point out Guitar Hero World tour but that's on many other systems so that doesn't really count.
Has anyone else noticed that Gamespot clearly does not care to review Wii games. Sure there are fewer AAA titles and releases overall but please games go for months without comment. How is it possible that it took 2 months to review Tiger Woods?!!! 2 months almost to the day! That was a premiere release! Gamespot you are failing me badly!airfloridaI say yes they do need more reviews.

Metacritic is a great site for evaluating games for any system. It gives you a good spread of scores to help you get a feel for the game. I usually read the highest scores, lowest scores and noteworthy site scores for games I'm interested in.
i go to gamespot for the forums, and ign for reviews and info. Everything works perfectly this way.XDXDXDXDXDXDXD
Yeah, that's the way to go.
Yeah! They still haven't reviewed Sam & Max: Season 1. I mean... I already baught it so it doesn't matter, but I just want to know that Gamespot is still breathing life into the Wii. Have they even reviewed World of Goo yet?
But then again, they have a lot on their plate. X360 and PS3 just keep spitting out games that I'd put more priority over most Wii games that have come out in the past few months.
Don't worry about posting your opinions. An admin just took a jab at me, then locked it so I couldn't add to my post. Sad.tarzanell
I figured that would happen, but don't think it was pointless to post there. I would hope that the more negative feedback they get, the more likely they (or their bosses) are to get on the ball. If nothing else, the editors can point to posts like that and say "look, we need to hire more people."
The review for Twilight Princess says it all..theICE_MAN
lol
every since gertsman left even though he was strict reviewer i kinda agreed with some of his opinion i always looked at gamespot for revies but i dont even bother anymore

That's actually pretty reassuring, thanks :).
