Why are some people against MP:3 and SSBB online

There was a pool a couple weeks ago that asked should Metrio prime 3 have online 65% of people said yes only 65% why wouldn't a person want it online it's a great selling point

No one is against SSBB online. Some are against MP3 online because it's meant to be an epic singleplayer experiance. Not to mention the multiplayer on MP2 wasn't that great.

Metrod Prime was a perfect game, to me, and Metroid Prime 2 suffered slightly, possibly due to efforts made to make the game multiplayer.  I'd rather they ignore multiplayer to reconnect with the magic of the first game, and the Metroid series has never been focused on multiplayer.

adding online shouldn't take away from the single player game, its an addition not a replacement of singleplayer, i mean the singleplayer must surely be pretty near finished espeically as initialy it was announced as a launch titile. Having a standout single player FPS with online as well is just what the Wii needs and how better than Nintendo to show the others the way.
