Why can't i find an access point with my wii to my wireless router??

Update the routers firmware and change it's channel to 1 or 11.

i have a DI514 also, and i cant find my access point on my wii.
i've been trying at this for a while now, and im considering just buying a new router cause it's ridiculous.

and the dlink website does not help at all
