OF course I'm talking about letting other players than the player one have administrative abilities like turning of the wii or push the home button.
Have this troubled you? I just think that it was stupid done by nintendo.

XD I doubt anybody knows me, either!
Yeah it hasn't been too bad for me.. My dad made a mistake once and turned off the Wii thinking he was just turning off his controller, but other than that it's no big deal
As far as the OP administrative question, I tend to agree. I play many games with my three year old son and he tries to pushdifferent buttons when the usual buttons aren't doing what he wants them to do. Maybe they can add a lock through firmware updates or the like.
Now, for the poll. Why release all your gems at one time? SMB2 is coming next month, they have time until most people will want SMB3.

I'm not sure about the home button, but you people do realize that you can set up the Wii Remotes so that only one controller will turn the system on/off? http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/setupWiiRemote.jsp#SynchTells ya how to do it. I do not know if there is a way to un-sync the controller when it is in standard mode, but if you do not want your friends to press the power button, have them sync the remote up using the one time mode. It is explained out that page, but what you do is player 1 presses the home button. Then choose Wii Remote Settings, followed by the reconnect option. After that press the 1 and 2 buttons (at the same time) in the order you want the controllers (i.e. player one will more than likely want to press them first). If you have friends that are jerks, you will just have to keep reconnecting till you get it the way you want.
