Like AWDS has gotten discontinued and you cant find in stores, but games like Super Mario 64 DS came out a year earlier and you can still find it a best buy for almost full price? I just find that strange.
Because people still buy enough of the game to make the publisher want to continue making it. Also the publisher could just be stupid and not realize the game could become quite popular i.e Phoenix Wright. In the case of Phoenix Wright Capcom continued to reprint the game but continously underestimated the demand.
You could also try the publisher website you may be surprised at how often they have copies of the games to be bought even though it has been discontinued.

maybe some people dont like planning there moves out so they cant be bothered with AWDS they like to rush inand stuff or just hate Turn based stratagy games.
anyway yeah i think some games got discontinued since the develpoers thought they were unpopular

initial productions runs are done and they use the same facilities to make other games. its all about booking times with the place that produce the games.

discontinued games are borderlined games. which means that people either loved the game or hated no in between. i have awds and i hate the game and wario ware got old after a few hours and i think pheonix wright is stupid altogether. besides you can find discontinued games on ebay.
