I think it's because specs don't tell the whole story. All developers who have worked or working with Wii say that it's a powerful and capable system. The only developers who don't think so are those who have not experienced developing for Wii.
Seriously, it's only the graphics wh*res and hardcore gamers who want the specs. A casual gamer doesn't care at all which one is the most powerful. Heck, I saw casual gamers said that the PS2 is the most powerful console.
I don't care what are the specs of Wii. All I want is to play games. Â

Because they have dropped out of the graphics race so the console specs dont really matter, oh and look at "Gun" for the 360 and Gundam for the ps3

Indeed, I think we will see mind blowing games soon. Mario Galaxy is the first but not the last game with good/great graphic. Wait till ATI's Graphic card potential is unleashed

Specs are pretty much irrelevant and have been for a long time well pretty much since the introduction of the mainstream\casual gamer. Most don't really care how pretty a game looks and Nintendo have caught onto this and are having massive success putting more effort into the fun factor rather than how ultra realistic you can make something look.

The Wii specs aren't secret. Nintendo hasn't hyped specs for a long time because they know how misleading and open to misinterpretation they can be. With the GC they released very modest specs and simply told people the GC would be graphically competitive but they were being realistic when it came to what you'd see in games. They could have easily gave test specs like the other two but didn't.
However, the specs aren't secret. I'm pretty sure they've been posted here a few times and Nintendo has released them somewhere.Â

Nintendo have nothing to gain buy releasing the spec's, as every one know its weaker than the other consoles.
Its sad how yall get mad in this place becuase someone says your console is weak ugh everyone doesnt have like what you like. And also i believe the specs should be on the box on somewhere when you buy it question answered.
