I Just Got Metroid, and every where i look someone is saying single player sucks. and from the online matches i've had i think 1 player mode is better. i got use to the controls very quick. and people still kill me up and down. It Is AR's people use them to much. i think nintendo needs to find a way to disable Cheat divices on WiFi.mike0015I agree. I don't like the multiplayer either.
Im not a big fan of the game either way. Its way too linear and the levels are so small for a metroid game. They didnt put much effort into the design of the actual single player layout. The graphics are very good. The control scheme works well although my hands hurt after about 30 mins of play. I actually havent played much of the game either way because of the pain it causes me.
Id love to see a 2nd Metroid game with either 3d graphics(like new super mario) or some nice 2d artwork.
Everyone puts single player down because not a lot of people like havingto scan things also there were onlytwo mainbosses just with different "difficulties" and at every planet you went to one of the stupid hunters began to pester you and sometimes they were really hard to kill But i liked single player cuz it ismuch easier to learn the controls in single player also on wifi if you run into aHackerits best to stay put and let them win cuz if you get off you lose connection history and it also counts as losing in last place just try to kill the other people before the Hacker does.
Oh and where did u buy Metroid cuz my cousin wants it but we cant find it anywhere not at gamestop walmart best buy THX:)
ar wasnt out at the time the games came out. its rather new.
its not so much that nintendo doesnt care, or lets people cheat, ther just naive. and since u cannt talk or say anything on nintendo wifi, they coul not implement a reporting system or a banning system. they would have to entirely reformat wifi to ever get rid of cheaters. jsut let them have ther fun and hope tehr action replay breaks ther game or system like ther suppose to
You know, single player was pretty good, actually, but some little...problems came up in the process:
1. The bosses, they don't work well. I would have liked it more if one of the hunters were somehow fighting you during a boss battle, or maybe some variety. (Awesome Giant Lion like alien or something)
2. The enemies really lacked. I certainly got bored smacking Psycho Bits away wherever I went. Maybe some Metroids or Pirates, kinda like first hunt.
3. What the heck am I running away from? The planets not blowing up, my suit didn't burn away, yet I have this weird little timer! What is that for?
When you talk about the rest, the single player is fine for me, if not a wee bit repetitive.
But Wifi, those hackers are spoil sports who couldn't blast their own way through a door without some cheat.
I think the single player wasn't particularly bad, it just wasn't anything special. You expect a bit more from a Metroid title. And while the bosses were all kinda the same, the last boss is more impressive.
I'm interested to know how many people use Action Replay online. I've played a good bit of Metroid multiplayer but never met a cheater. Is it possible that the people who were beating you were just people who had more practice and were better than you? Skill level is something that varies alot in Metroid Prime: Hunters.
1. It's too Linear
2. Puzzles are Infrequent and painfully easy.
3. No Metroids = Fail
4. Geared towards Running and Gunning than Exploration.
its nowhere near the level of the prime1 and prime2s. the fact there are two bosses who are recycled really hurts it. plus its short like 10 hours. but its still decent and multiplayer is awesome
