Why does my Wii turn on sometimes?

I mean the light gets green, its not just the blue light. I don't turn it on or anything so what can it be?

Honestly- I don't know, I've only ever heard of it powering OFF. Is there any other person/animal that could hit the button on the Wii or the Wiimote?

And it could shut off from overheating. How is your Wii sitting, or what is it sitting by? Is it in the stand?

But yeah I say someone accidently pressed the power button on the wiimote a lot of times. Could be playing a prank on you...

Your toaster broke so you thought the best course of direction is to talk to people who enjoy eating bread?

Anything not turning on/off the way it's supposed to could be dangerous. Call Nintendo and get it replaced for nothing else but so you don't have a safety issue in the future.
