You know like Mon. - Fri. give us one game a day and take the weekend off. At least it would give people something to look forward to everyday instead of waiting till Mon. of every week.

It is probably easier on the notifying the press if they are released on the same day of the week. It could also cause confusion as to which games were released in which region.

Also, can you imagine the forums. Every single day, about 10 posts saying "what was todays VC game". Its bad enough getting it twice a week now (europe and US).

Because then that would shorten the Virtual Console's life expectancy to about 1 year.......Nintendo only has so many games...and if we got a new one every day....the vc would be over so quickly

between the 5 systems...i'm sure they have at least 2000 titles they could release, so don't say the vc would "be over so quickly"

not to mention systems they haven't added yet

Yeah, but around 200 (or less) out of 2000 are worth getting. The rest is crap :|

It's too much for the Wii to handle.

They have to have the game rated by the apporiate review boards, bugtest the game, add the manual, add the save function, get the agreements with the license holders, put the game on the server. That takes time.

No way they could do one game a day. Not with the size of the team handling vc releases.

The real question is why don't they release as many as they can as soon as they have been emulated? Having a library of games to choose from isn't going to hurt the purchasing market. What hurts the market is offering VC games no one has heard of or games that weren't even good when they were originally released.

My thoughts exactly. Or they could release more than 3 games a week, say like 5 every monday. And enough of this "well they would run out of games". BULL**IT Between the turbografx, sega gen, nes, snes, and n64, they have more than enough games to go around. And for those who say "well they would be crap games".BULL**IT most of the games they have released so far have been crap. I can count on one hand the number of decent games theve released so far. SO make with the games already nintendo!!!
