After watching E3 I started wondering....why did they fill e3 08 with casual games. I mean sure the Wii is mostly geared towards casual gamers but how many casual gamers watch e3? Heck how many know what e3 is?? If they showed some games like Conduit or COD Im sure much less people would have complained. What are your thoughts?

i wrote this in another topic. nintendo can make a stupid block destroying game and spend alot less money and time making it..and make a whole bunch of money...other then spending alot of time and money into an amazing game like zelda or starfox that not everyone will buy.... and more casual gamers own a wii then core gamers

E3 is pretty much the only gaming summit casual press attends. As bizarre as it may seem, E3 is actually the best place to show off casual stuff.

There's thousands of core gamers watching E3, but there's also journalists from TIME and the New York Times that will report what happened for MILLIONS of casuals.

U got to also consider that these conferences are now directed toward writers and journalists, who will write articles for magazines aimed at regular people, the"potential" casual gamer. Hence, the casual games we saw

Wii Music would be good if you could play something other than Nintendo music., or orchestral instruments (Im more of a fan of classic rock, 60s 70s 80s and 90s rock, by that I mean, I dont like Nintendo music as much as classic rock, but its fun)

Even though I wasn't really angry or depressed like most of you after this (it's just E3, people, Id rather have these games announced than an epic one thatll be delayed 4 or 3 times) Im starting to think that the Wii is slowy becoming more gimmicky. (Gonna raise my flame shield up, now)
