I wish there was something you can use to recharge batteries in your Wii-mote so I dont have to keep buy batteries for my controllers all the time.  Is there?

I use rechargable batteries, but there are recharging docking stations available.  I think Nyko makes them.

Is it that hard to hit pause, get up, open the remote, pull out the dead batteries, put them in the "dead" bin, take two batteries out of the "charged" bin, put them in, close the remote, sit down, and unpause?  It took me longer to type it than it takes to really do it.

Dude, its not that its hard to do that, its that it is expensive. While buying rechargeable batteries seems expensive, if you are a hard core gamer, it will save you money in the long run.

You're wrong.
It's cheaper in the long run to use rechargeable batteries over battery packs or single use batteries.

If you love to waste money sure, go buy a charging station or single use batteries.

I use rechargable batteries. The "dead" bin is not my special name for the garbage.  I put dead batteries in a box and charge them up when I get around to it.

I work at an electrical supply house so I get a pack of 48 AA's for about 4 bucks, but I'm planning on getting one of those Nyko chargers just for convenience, I won't be surprised if Nintendo makes one of their own in the near future though, so hold on to the seat of your pants.

That's a pretty sweet deal.  I'd stay with that.

I have 12 rechargeable batteries on a rotation, so that I always have fresh batteries when a set dies.
