I know the DS has been around for awhile now , BUT there are a ton of people who are just now getting into it. The thing that bugs me is there are several discontinues games that shouldnt be. For expample , why the hell would tetris ds not be on the market. i know at least 8 people looking for it. Seems like someone doesnt see the big picture and are loosing alot of revenue from a classis game. that used to always be available for a handheld

Thats true. IMO the tetris games should definately stay on the market but I think it is hard for retailers to keep them stocked because of the cost. You can go and get tetris for 20 bucks but there might be anothergame that came out at the same timethat is still selling for35. From a retailer standpoint its hard to choose what stays and goes.

*Thats why I love Gamestop and EB Games*

Tetris DS is a broken game, much like Tetris Worlds for the GBA. The included cheat function cheapens the whole concept of the game, and although you can turn it off, it doesn't come close to the Tetris experience of the original Game Boy pack-in.

Meteos 1 (not that Disney sequel) is the only puzzle game you need for the DS.

Most games could get discontinued after a while. It is always good to get games like Tetris DS when they are released, so you have it before things disappear.

I have Tetris DS, AW:DS, and I had Meteos. The thing about discontinued games is that, if you really want it, you shouldn't be snooty and insist on picking up a new copy. Used copies are usually equally good. Even though some may not be as appealing due to the lack of an official case or lack of a manual, they can run a few bucks cheaper. If you really really need a new copy, do some intensive looking. You can usually find most games at a Gamestop or EB Games. Search the websites, they have some very helpful store locators. Also, check store such as circuit city, best buy and target. Often you will find new copies of games there because a lot of people don't think to look there. I saw a new copy of Tetris DS at a circuit city near me, and I picked up a brand new copy of legend of the dragoon at a best buy a little while ago. Also, don't hesitate to buy games you really want when they first come out. You don't always know what games will be discontinued.
