Why hasn't nintendo made any good games lately?

Nintendo has not come out with any good games lately. I have not bought a wii game since Super Smash Bros. Brawl and wii sports and wii sports resort are some of their best games. I want wii to come out with a big title game like another Smash Bros.! Come on Nintendo make me proud :) ( this is just my opinion ;) )JewScout2

What you should be asking is why haven't you bought any of Nintendo's good games lately.

Well, they can't make games every day, you know, they release Punch Out and Resort, you have to give them a break once in a while.

pUNCH-oUT, mETROID Prime Tril. and new Super Mario Bros Wii

If you wait you'll get what you want...like a Metroid game developed by Team Ninja...

Because they know they dont have to, and if they do well its not a new game its a updeted gamecube game with some new charecters, more colors, a bit polished and ta da! yey wow its so cool im gonna buy it no matter if its good or bad, jump on the bandwagon yey! all to the mountins! sorry shoping malls!

Just going off Gamespot scores for the 4 Nintendo games this year...

Wii Sports Resort- 8.0
Excitebots- 8.0
Punch-Out- 8.5
Metroid Prime Trilogy- 9.0 or better

Nintendo has made plenty of good games, you are just choosing not to buy them.

Look to next year, we've got Sin and Punishment 2, No more heroes: Desperate struggle, Super Mario Bros.wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Tatsunoko vs Capcom and lots more, Admittedly Nintendo were off this year, but that's only because they were making the great games that are going to be released in the months to come and next year

May be due to that they are working on Metroid other M the new zelda game and super mario galaxy 2!

Nintendo did it to tick you off. Nintendo knows you wouldn't lower your self to the point where you buy a game that hasn't been freshly.

level one account? hey, we all have to start somewhere. it appears that the thread was started by someone who isn't much of a gamer. all gamers do research on current and future games to know what is or will be available to the consumer. and if nintendo wasn't making any "good" games lately, how would we know the reason?

They've released 4 good ones this year with New Super Mario Bors coming. Also for 2010 Metroid Other M, Zelda, and galaxy 2. Also quite possibly Pikmin 3

not that they are bad , im just trying to point out it takes longer for a good game on the ps3 360 wii then it does older consoles

not only because there more powerful or different controls

its because the development teams of past gens are gone ,

the lower and lower teams we have making the games

the less games your going to get on a weekly bases

so ya its not nintendos fault that technology gets better and takes more time to work with

Why don't you check Haziqonfire's thread at the top of the board. It shows games that are liked by most, and even gives you ratings to support your decision.

Just because the console is manufacturered by Nintendo, doesn't mean that's all you have to buy. Ever try building a motor??? If you bought Honda or Chevy performance parts you'd be paying twice what you could get else ware.

Actually, there's so many good games that I would like to get right now that I don't know how l'll buy them all!

Nintendo pretty much gives us good games every 3-4months, just depends if you're open to different genres, its understandable if you're not

Not to mention the AAA titles on DS like Mario & Luigi next week

Because they hate you.
