why i can't play classic games with component cable like zelda or mario?

when i am starting a game the screen goes black and only sound exists.when i plug the classic cable rgb everwthing is ok.please help.

The games were released before component cables existed, and they don't need to have enhanced graphics from the cables to be any better.

yes but why they don't working? is my wii faulty or my cables or not?or this issue happens with every wii?is it normal?

Which Mario and Zelda games are you talking about? I have the Nintendo component cables and it works with all my VC games. I have Super Mario Bros. and it works fine for me. Idon't have Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time.
