Like a strategy game, but you can control individual units I think. What genre is it in?? Is it a strategy game, puzzle, or both?

Ah man, beaten to it ;). Seriously, the best thing you can do is read it, and you'll understand. As it's not being paraded by Nintendo, some others have to do it ;)
How do I join the Union?? This game looks intresting. Would it be good to rent Batillion(sp?) Wars or just buy it??

It would probably be worth it to just rent. It's a pretty short game and there is no multiplayer in the first.
There isn't a union for the BWii Campaign. Maybe we should start one. I don't know a lot about the first game though.
The game isnt hyped as much as it should have been, I would suggest you buy the first Battalion Wars for GC(can get it for about $10 new)and play that for a while, its a fun game and the only real problem with it was no multiplayer. BWii has multiplayer and online along with some other cool features, so its improving upon an already great game.dragonball3900
OMG Im in Australia and battalion wars is like still $99.95/$79.99 which is the price for full retail games last generation.
Geist too is like $99.99 and so is Baten Kaitos.
This game is barely hyped at all.
All the reviews I saw for the original Batallion Wars, aside from the IGN review, said it was pretty unimpressive. That why I want to know why BWII is so hyped.Dr_Corndog
IGN and GameSpot gave it good reviews. Reviewers often complained about the lack of multiplayer and it was hard to micromanage units (the latter I didn't find hard at all).
BWii fixes both of those with WiFi and a map.
