And why are all of its parts in the same places? It even has a corner missing in the same place the Gameboy did if you compare the press release photo of the hand holding up the the Revolution to holding an original gameboy the same way with it's back facing you.myxylplyx
What are u ON about? :P

Perhaps it's just you being paranoid. :P
I wonder, is Nintendo planning on a true advancement to their Gameboy line? I don't really see another version of the GBA as a step forward.myxylplyx
I think it does mean something. How often does Nintendo revamp old franchises and other products while retaining subtle aspects of the original? All of the time? With just about everything they have released in the past 15 years or more. The two systems are too physically similar for it to be just a coincidence.
I asked the question about the next real leap forward in the Gameboy line. Nintendo said the DS is not a Gameboy product. The Micro is only another remake of the GBA and not a true progression in the line. It's been four years since the last real Gameboy sequel, would 2006 not be a prime year to release the Next Gameboy?
Another point is why did Iwata stress the fact that when the Revolution is released it would be much smaller than the prototype shown at E3 and it would consume much less power than competing consoles? Do you care how much power it takes to run your Gamecube?
It's that version that looks like the GB...Hey, you're right, it seems a GB, but I think it seems more like a NES:

You do know that that's not what the standard Revolution will look like, right?
Of course I know Revo will not look like this. It's to show how NES and Revo are similar. I think I should have posted the original pic and this one.
Becouse nintendo wants to take over the world. This shape hipnotise people, forcing them to buy nintendo products! :shock:pcmxms
You got it. There's some hidden message in that design.

They're trying to reach out to the California market. Even though we actually don't care either.

I KNEW IT!
Something isn't right here...A Squaresoft executive was quoted as saying something to the effect of the Revolution was not only a console, not only a portable.myxylplyxYour onto something, Nintendo is known for changing their console designs from generation to generation. Certainly their aware of the fact that RevO looks like GB. The RevO looks like the GB for a reason.
