Why isn't there any ________(insert PS3/360 game) for the WII!!?!?!?!

How many people are sick of these topics? I for one am.

Why ask about these games if you got a Wii? I knew what i was getting and am happy to get it. If i wanted DMC4, GTA4, COD4 etc etc i wouldn't have bought a Wii. The answer you will get is

1. Don't know

2. Can't work because of power needed/engine used

3. Unexpected Wii success

4. Never have been on Nintendo Console

Choose the answer you like but most likely that is what you'll hear.

I'm sick of all the "Wii wish list..." too. Frankly, I'm all about supporting the 3rd party titles that we're getting now because I want to support up-and-coming franchises. The way I see it, before GTA III was as popular as it is now, it had to go through 2 complete flops. However, enough people bought those games and enough people had faith in the franchise that it blew up to the great game GTA is now.

SO LET'S SUPPORT THE NEW STUFF! Great and not-so-great new franchises for video games are being created on the Wii, but we have to support them so they have a chance to be greater in the future.

If people be patient they'll realize that in the future the Wii will be getting lots of multiplats. Alot of the multiplats out now were already being made for other systems, as developers weren't expecting the Wii to have such a large userbase.

Look at the Fatal Frame and Monster Hunter series. Previously exclusive to other consoles, namely PS2, but now they're only on Wii.

Franchises like RE, CoD etc. have been on Nintendo systems before so rumours can be interesting to see. It's the "is there going to be a Wii version of -insert game here that doesnt have a chance- ??" that can be annoying if there's lots of them.

I'm all for a sticky about it, but it might get confusing seeing as rumour news is good to be seperately posted.

wii cant do much in the graphics department, so its no surprise that pretty much none of the best third party titles are coming to wii. when devs are too lazy to make Ps3 or 360 games they go to wii, thats the easiest console to throw together a game on right now. and i don't think the wii is ever gonna see and end to these "gimmick" games.

I think the Wii CAN do a lot in the graphics department. Developers have yet to push the limits of the console. Graphic capabilities are really becoming a thing of the past. It's more about Artistic Direction now. I admit, however, the Wii may experience issues in rendering HYPER-realistic games. Then again, not every game has to be HYPER-realistic, hence the emphasis on Artistic Direction over graphics capabilities.

As for lacking graphics on the Wii, if developers weren't lazy towards to Wii like you say, they could make the game look awesome from the art.

Who cares? That's why you buy all the consoles. Then you can play anything you want. I do not know a single person that uses the Wii as their primary platform. It is always sitting next to a 360 and PS3......in my circle at least.Deominator

I could not care less about DMC as the series was never that good to begin with! GTA was orignal when #3 came on out for the PS2 but once you have played one you have played them all and i dont see the new generation being any differant as Rockstar arent known for innovation! CoD4 is a awesome game but I'd honestly rather see TimeSplitters on the Wii anytime!

I totally agree. I have almost beat it and am loving every minute of it. Its like GTA III, which was great and then Vice City came out and was totally awsome. Thats why Im really anticipating the sequal.

What could Nintendo do to get these games on the Wii though, just have an updated graphics card or would there be more to change? Please dont yell at me im only asking. I just think it would be in Nintendos best interest to fix this, coz lots of people are buying into Microsoft and Sony just because of it and Nints losing out big.

The thing is they're never going to upgrade the Wii, you'll have to wait 4-5 years a new system comes out. And besides the Wii is already the most selling console, so why change something that works? It' s obviuos you like some kind of games that you won't get on Wii and besides I remember reading a post from you where you said you didn't like SMG, so it's clear the Wii isn't your kind of console or isn't what you was expecting, and it will never be. But there is still a huge demand if you sell it on ebay you could still get what you paid for it back and use that money to purchase a console that is more in your taste. But it's your call. But if you keep your Wii, make peace with the fact that RE5 or others aren't coming. That doesn't mean that there won't be any RE anymore for the Wii.

wow you dont know anything about system capabilities. lol. but i like what nintendo is doing. if you want call of duty and games like that buy a 360. the wii is a unique experience not the same old crap you can buy on another system.

Oh, nah I didnt mean a new console, I mean like if you sent your Wii in and paid for upgraded parts so it could handle these games if you were into that sort of thing with graphics.
